Mother Nature's Gifts. Not only do plants nourish our bodies, it's a fact that since ancient times people have used plants to heal themselves. Plants like Lavender, Rosemary, Chamomile, Basil, Sage, Peppermint, Oregano, Aloe (all shown here cut fresh from my garden) all have great medicinal properties. 

  

Lavender has anti-inflamatory and antiseptic properties. 


Aloe is used to treat burns, cuts, and skin infections. 

Peppermint soothes headaches, nausea, pain, diarrhea and flatulence. 

Sweet basil, in India today, is used to treat stress, diabetes, and even asthma. 
 
The list of plants and their medicinal attributes goes on and on. You probably have some, or many, in your garden already. How wonderful is that?

Growing your own plants is so easy and so beneficial in many aspects, including adding more life to your home. You can keep them in containers to transport them inside during winter months. I think you'll find it quite rewarding for your mind, body, and soul
