December 21, 2017 at 10:28am - First Day of Winter for the Northern hemisphere! The winter brings about so many wonderful opportunities. How could you not love it?
The first day of winter is the longest night of the year, in the Northern Hemisphere. And yes, the days begin to get colder. People tend to be less active. Landscapes die. Wildlife hibernation is underway. It is cold, dark, and still.
It's a cycle, though. Remember, every exhale requires an inhale, right? Everything we do returns back to us to begin again. We exert energy and must rest to replenish. Makes sense?
Now think of this cycle Earth-wise. Winter is Earth's last seasonal cycle. Spring is its first. Nature, like us, must always return to stillness, silence, and dark. From dark there is a new dawn; a new beginning. From death there is new life; rebirth. You get the idea.
How can the winter season revive you? The winter season is a great time for inner reflection and to gain new strength for Spring's new daylight. Embrace the silence and stillness. Appreciate and celebrate all that you have, all that you are, and all that you will be. Rest and replenish your mind, body, and soul. Let go and release old patterns, rekindle hope, seek new inspirations...there are so many wonderful opportunities to come.
Maybe you can finally book that Energy Healing session you've been pushing off. How fabulous would that be?!
